A Dreamy 60th Birthday Wishlist Or Things I am Convinced I Need

Today, I am feeling playful and in need of some fun. I spend hours browsing the internet and pinning things on Pinterest that bring me joy. I watch hours on Youtube of people’s homes and how they make their spaces beautifully theirs. I am a huge fan of all things beautiful, and even on my personal family Instagram account, it seems I rarely see my friends’ pictures anymore. Instead, the IG algorithm seems to know me best, as it feeds me a plethora of beautifully decorated rooms filled with Chinoiserie decor and the most captivating tablescapes. As I am turning 60 this year, I thought of sharing with you my ultimate birthday wishlist, which includes some things that I am convinced I need…..if money was not an object.

A Long Trip Through Europe

I have always dreamed of visiting Italy. The very idea of the Amalfi Coast fills me with joy. I even have pictures of this breathtaking destination as my desktop wallpaper. Every now and then, I take a few moments to daydream about being there. I picture myself strolling along the winding cobblestone streets, indulging in some shopping, and savoring the local cuisine and wine. But I don’t just want to visit for a week; I want to spend an entire month exploring Rome, Greece, and Spain, and maybe even take a trip to London and Paris! It’s my ultimate birthday wish, and who knows, it just might come true.

Hermes Kelly Bag

I feel Hernes is worth the investment. Not only is the craftsmanship impeccable, but the quality of the materials they use is top-notch. I love how versatile the bag is – it can be dressed up or down, and it would go with just about everything in my wardrobe! Plus, the timeless design means that it will never go out of style. While it is a splurge, I believe that the longevity and durability of the bag make it a smart purchase in the long run. Plus, it is an item to be passed on for generations. Now with 2 daughters, 2 daughters-n-love, and 3 granddaughters. Who will get it lol?

Hermes Balcon du Guadalquivir Tableware

While we are on the subject of Hermes, I recently stumbled upon the Hermes Balcon du Guadalquivir tableware collection, and I must say, it instantly caught my eye. This is a true work of art that I would love to add to my home. The crisp, bold red and white design is simply stunning, and I can’t help but imagine how it would elevate any tablescape I do! Oh, to dream!

Potcake Wicker Dog

This cheeky little guy from Amanda Lindroth would make the perfect addition to my home decor. Plus, my granddaughters would love him too!

Have My Home Decorated By Edith-Ann Duncan

I first discovered Interior Designer Edith-Ann Duncan while watching an episode of Homeworthy on YouTube. They showcased her beautiful home in Virginia. I have to admit, I have watched this episode multiple times. I am absolutely obsessed with her home and would love to live in it! I adore everything about her decorating design, especially her love for Chinoiserie and table decor. The cabinet she designed for her china is stunning! Every room in her home is breathtaking. If I had to choose one thing from all my birthday wishlist, it would be to have Edith-Ann Duncan decorate my home for my 60th birthday! If by some miracle Edith-Ann Duncan has found my little corner of the internet and is reading this, I would like to say thank you for inspiring me with your beautiful home and come decorate mine in Florida please!

While these things may seem extravagant, they are my ultimate birthday wishlist and who knows, maybe they will come true one day. At the end of the day, what matters most to me is good health and happiness for myself and those around me. Cheers to a great year ahead!

Until next time,

Enjoy your day, your family, and your home!
